Title: Fundamentals and Applications in Continuous-Variable Quantum Information

Abstract:
After a brief overview of my past research in continuous-variable quantum information, I focus on how quantum phenomena can enhance precision measurements, highlighting the emerging role of critical systems for quantum sensing. I also describe the experimental implementation of these protocols in a superconducting microwave platform, with magnetometry as a representative example. Looking ahead, I outline future directions, including the use of quantum sensing for fundamental science, such as dark matter detection and the characterization of condensed matter models, as well as the development of secure quantum networks. These efforts point toward new opportunities in precision measurements and quantum-enabled protocols.
